The Danish Association of Young Cardiologists (DAYC) has existed since 1986 and has approximately 400 members (predominantly junior doctors with special interest in cardiology). 

Besides being a network of trainees in cardiology, every year DAYC arranges two national meetings covering education, research, new guidelines and daily clinical practice aimed at the young cardiologist. 

DAYC is also represented in the board of the Danish Society of Cardiology and in several national committees within the field of Cardiology.
